AI-Powered Fraud Detection for Telecom Networks
With the rapid expansion of digital connectivity and growing dependence on mobile-based services, identity-related fraud has become a significant challenge for telecom operators and governments across the world.
FraudPro addresses this issue through an advanced AI and ML-driven architecture designed to detect and prevent identity-based telecom fraud.
Developed by C-DOT, FraudPro is an AI/ML-based fraud detection platform that uses advanced technologies such as large-scale image deduplication, forged document detection, and automated re-verification mechanisms.
By leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), FraudPro enables telecom operators to proactively identify fraudulent mobile connections within networks and prevent misuse of telecom resources.
The solution uses facial deduplication and document verification capabilities to identify suspicious or duplicate identities during telecom onboarding processes.
Through these capabilities, FraudPro helps strengthen the security of telecom networks and improve compliance with regulatory requirements.
FraudPro: Deployment in India’s Digital Telecom Ecosystem
In India, FraudPro has already been deployed by the Department of Telecommunications as part of the country’s digital security initiatives.
The solution operates within the Digital Intelligence Platform and the Sanchar Saathi Portal to help identify and mitigate fraudulent mobile connections across telecom networks.
By integrating AI-driven detection systems into national telecom infrastructure, FraudPro contributes to strengthening trust and transparency in mobile connectivity while safeguarding citizens from identity-based telecom fraud.
